Nella valle di Tangulbei, in Kenya, viveva un maestoso ulivo selvatico che si chiamava Mutamayo. Un giorno una bambina di nome Mapenzi, appartenente alla tribu dei Pokot, ando a trovarlo. Con grande sorpresa di Mapenzi, l'albero parlò. Col passare dei giorni la loro amicizia crebbe e Mutamayo trasmise a Mapenzi tutta la sua saggezza e la fede nella Pace.

The story is about an encounter between man and nature. It conveys a message of peace. In the valley of Tangulbei, in Kenya, there lived a majestic wild olive tree called Mutamayo. One day a little girl named Mapenzi, belonging to the Pokot tribe, went to visit it. To Mapenzi's surprise, the tree spoke. As the days went by, their friendship grew and Mutamayo passed on to Mapenzi all his wisdom and faith in Peace.
